Prominent vertical and horizontal fractures tend to generate very blocky appearance in granite formation along Larimer County Road 82E near Livermore, CO.

The Well Improvement Company personnel have been professionally and academically involved in the development of mountain water supplies since 1975. The behavior and movement of ground water are continually being studied to maximize the effectiveness of the hydrofracturing. Our well hydrofracturing procedures and equipment have been applied to over 2500 dry or low producing wells. We have worked throughout the Front Range of Colorado and on larger water development projects in France and West Africa. Despite a wide range of geologic conditions, the success rate is in excess of 90%.

A special note to realtors.  The water supply is very critical to the marketability and livability of a mountain property.  I am eager to talk to prospective buyers about a specific well. In general, it can be helpful to go over the numbers associated with a mountain water supply regarding water supply adequacy; including: water usage, household water requirements, well yield, and water storage requirements.  Often just discussing mountain water wells, low producing wells, and the nature of ground water can help someone unfamiliar with mountain wells feel more comfortable.  Similarly, if the seller of a property is experiencing problems with a dry or low producing well, I would be happy to go over possible solutions and options.
